Zoo Boo At the Detroit Zoo– October 5-7, 12-14, 19-21
Beaumont Children’s hosts a “merry-not-scary” event at the Detroit Zoo, offering costume-clad children a chance to take part in Halloween festivities. Children are able to walk the trick-or-treat trail while seeing an extreme pumpkin carver, fortune teller, magician, and much more! Tickets are available for purchase online or in-person.
Detroit Lions Eastern Market Tailgating– October 7, 28
At every Lions home game, Eastern Market offers a lively, open-air setting for Lions fans to show their Pride. Fans can take a shuttle, or make the 10-minute walk, to Ford Field from Eastern Market. Parking passes are available for purchase, with proceeds going back to Eastern Market.
Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village- October 12-14, 18-21, 25-28
Explore the grounds of Greenfield Village at night as guests walk a path lit by 1,000 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns. Listen to live music, stop at treat stations, visit with costumed characters, and much more. Be sure to make reservations for dinner at the Eagle Tavern or A Taste of History ® Restaurant. Tickets are available online.
Mojo’s Haunted Hollywood Halloween Party– October 19
This 21 and up Halloween party is surely to be the biggest Halloween party of the year! All proceeds will go to charity, with a chance to win over $6,000 in prizes for the best dressed character. Win tickets on Channel 955 or purchase them online.
Detroit Free Press Marathon– October 20-21, 2018
The Detroit Free Press Marathon is one of the few international races between the US and Canada. This is a weekend full of athletic events including a marathon, half-marathon, relay, 5K race, kids run, and a 1-mile competitive race.
